Moab, Utah 2010

This year I decided my family need to try something different instead of our annual trip to Zions National Park.  Utah has so many beautiful national parks, why limit ourselves to just one?

Although it was kind of sad to break our family tradition, I knew we'd be sure to take it up again next year.  So with a lot of convincing, I got everyone to head to Moab this year!

The plan was to go to Moab, and spend our time hiking all around Arches National Park.  My family, still not convinced, complained the whole way there that there was NO WAY Moab would be as fun as Zions.  But IT WAS!!

The weather was perfect, and we were able to hike to all kinds of cool arches.  Our hiking took us all day, and we had to leave my mom behind. (Don't worry, she was okay with it!) :)

When we got to the top of the Double O Arch, Sean decided that he wanted to climb on top of it.  I was going to go up there too, but at the last second I chickened out.  Besides, I needed to stay behind to get this great picture of him on top, right?

We had an awesome time hiking all over the park and we definitely enjoyed the beautiful scenery.

The camp ground was fun too.  We rode our bikes around camp and swam every day. We also went to the best Italian restaurant that I’ve ever eaten at, Pasta Jays. Everyone loved it and we stuffed ourselves silly, twice!

Next time, I don't think I'll have to try so hard to convince my family to go to Moab. :)
